Rocky canyons, ancient villages, lakes and mountains: the Gorges du Verdon (Verdon Gorge) is the perfect setting for your holiday. The Gorges du Verdon is the biggest canyon in Europe, towering 700m above the River Verdon, and the river itself has the cleanest water. This unspoiled land is famous for its three hundred days of sunshine, fields filled with rows of purple lavender, cheerful bright red poppies, olive groves, sunny pockets of sunflower fields, and vineyards.
Our holidays are based near the village of Moustiers Sainte-Marie (pictured). Perched high in the mountains, it's been named as one of the most beautiful villages in France.
Join a group of Go Provence holiday-makers on a tour of the Gorges du Verdon, and see this amazing area for yourself.
Our Adventure Week activities include white water rafting, horse riding, canoeing, rock climbing and paragliding. You might even find yourself aqua rambling: floating, swimming and jumping through the water to discover the secrets of the Gorges du Verdon. Or how about a forest adventure, climbing through the tree canopy?
All of the activities will be using French companies hired by Go Provence, and the necessary safety equipment will be supplied. Clients' ability and suitability will be assessed by Go Provence and each activity provider.

Enjoy a chocolate croissant and French coffee for breakfast. Grab a picnic lunch when you're out and about, with home-made salad, French baguette, cheese and fresh fruit. And take your time over dinner with dishes such as ratatouille with pasta, or roast chicken with potato wedges and seasonal vegetables.
All of our meals are made from scratch, and fruit and vegetables are sourced locally. If you have particular requirements (vegetarian, diabetic etc), just let us know and we'll adapt the menu.
Meal times at the house normally take place in the garden or on the terrace, so you can enjoy the sunshine, fresh air and good company to the full.
Neil Manser is the Go Provence chef and often welcomes holiday makers into the kitchen to help out. See him in action making his famous vegeburgers.
Go Provence holidays are based in a large country house one kilometre outside the beautiful village of Moustiers Sainte-Marie. The house was restored in the winter of 2013/14 and all the interior feels fresh and new. It has a lovely garden with views over to Moustiers Sainte-Marie and The Gorges du Verdon.
Most of our bedrooms sleep two or three people, and you'll be sharing with someone of the same sex. All bedrooms have easy access to bathrooms and toilets, and most have en suite bathrooms. The house is split over two levels and the stairs are very shallow and have handrails to enable easy access to the first floor.

To ensure that we give you the correct level of support we rely on the information that you supply to us. You must complete our questionnaire, which you can download or we can send to you in the post, and we encourage communication by telephone to guarantee we have all the information we need. From this information we build a care plan/risk assessment for your supported holiday. This maximises your opportunity for a fun and safe holiday with us.
We can arrange that you are supported on your trip from the UK to the South of France. We will meet you at your nearest airport or train station and support you on the aeroplane or train. We make sure you will be supported back to the UK again after your holiday.
Our staffing levels are at a ratio of 4 staff to 7 holiday makers. Staff will be present at all times throughout the duration of your holiday. Staff are able to administer your medication including insulin, and we have access to the village nurse should you require specialist medication. Should we decide that you require some additional support from home we will suggest this in your care plan. We keep the price to a minimum for any support staff that accompany you. We will keep a Quality Care Journal that records, in a diary like format, your day to day activities as well as any medication you take or additional medication that you take , for example, if you need paracetamol for a headache. All is recorded and we will email this home to you after your holiday.
Meet some of the staff and see they type of support they give.
